Our Story
we grew up analog.
dial-up internet that screeched when it connected. away messages that said everything we felt but couldn't say out loud. mixtapes were made for people we were too nervous to call or talk to in person. blockbuster on a friday night. saturday morning cartoons before anyone else was awake.
we didn't need the cloud. we stored our whole world on something the size of our hand.
and somewhere between then and now the world got loud. screens got brighter. attention spans got shorter. everything got faster and somehow less.
we never fully stopped believing in the slower version.
presence over pixels. that's what we're building toward.
we were promised a bright future.
we got a front row seat to history and a participation trophy.
we watched 9/11 happen on a classroom television. we graduated into a recession. we fell in love during a pandemic and bought houses at 7% interest and called it a win.
we have experienced once in a lifetime events on a weekly basis for our entire adult lives.
we were told to have good vibes only.
we have not had one good vibe as a generation.
and yet.
we stayed.
we're building.
we're exhausted.
but caffeinated. ☕
i built this because i needed it.
after two years of trying to find my way back into a world that kept moving without me (new health challenges, new limitations, new definitions of what a good day looks like) i turned to the one thing that always made sense.
making things.
slowly.
with intention.
for people who feel what i feel.
ANALOG is flexible enough to fit my life as it actually is. meaningful enough to get out of bed for. and built on the belief that the generation that survived everything deserves something made just for them.
this is that thing.
welcome.
we're glad you stayed too.
